Focus on Recovery (FORE) Uganda is a Non-Profit organisation on a mission
to tackle mental health and addiction crisis in Uganda. Founded in 2015 by
a group of individuals who personally experienced the challenges of
addiction and are now in recovery, FORE aims to tackle the growing
addiction and mental health crisis in Uganda.
A future where recovery is fully supported and celebrated, with accessible care for all, transforming lives and communities affected by addiction in Uganda
1.To provide sustainable and impactful recovery services in Uganda, empowering individuals to overcome addiction through compassionate, affordable and culturally appropriate care, and enabling them to lead healthy, productive lives.
2.To dismantle the stigma surrounding addiction and mental health and promote open and honest discussions, empowering individuals to seek help and break the chains of addiction.

We work to amplify the voices of individuals and communities affected by addiction and mental health challenges, ensuring their needs and rights are at the forefront of local, national and global policies.
We collaborate with individuals, organisations, private companies and government agencies to expand access to mental health services. We provide employee wellness programs, mental health workshops, counselling services, peer support groups and subsidised or free mental health services tailored to the needs of underserved communities.
